Iran's foreign minister said on Thursday his country is prepared for both war and negotiations, amid concerns about military strikes against Iran by Israel and the United States. "We don't want war, but we are ready for war. We are also ready for negotiations, but only negotiations that are based off mutual interests and respect," said Abbas Araghchi after arriving in Beirut for talks on Thursday. So far, violence around the demonstrations has killed at least 38 people while more than 2,200 others have been detained, said the U.S.-based Human Rights Activists News Agency. Araghchi also accused Israel of repeatedly breaching the ceasefire with Beirut and said he planned to discuss the matter with Lebanese officials.
