Mount Wudang, China's most ancient Taoist sacred mountain, marks my third visit here. This time, instead of visiting the official scenic area, I explored the academies and villages along the ancient sacred way, where I made friends with several reclusive individuals living here.Under their guidance, I shoot the video of Taoist priests in meditation, children practicing martial arts, craftsmen making ancient stringed instruments. Here, children choose an ancient Chinese private tutoring system instead of the formal school education. Adults here don't go to regular jobs; instead, they cultivate their own land, engage in handicrafts, teach traditional Chinese music and martial arts, or simply pursue spiritual cultivation. In this unique community, I have witnessed an alternative path in life. They say that nature holds great beauty.
