This is one of my absolute favorite tracks from my album ‘Fragmente’. ‘Clouds’ is a hypnotic, driven improvisation and my first collaboration with Italian composer/violinist Laura Masotto. The track combines a strong 7/8 piano pulse, with shifting harmonies and a lush, dream-like violin melody, all run through countess effect pedals. This track is part of my most ambitious release to date, my new album 'Fragmente': 17 tracks and more than 50 minutes of music; Recorded with lots of great musicians from Berlin and beyond.
