I stayed at 2 boutique hotels in Ubud, Bali: Titik Dua and Bisma Eight... Here's a snippet of the experience - from room tours, hotel breakfasts, house activities, reviews and more! 😊 📍 HOTEL 1: TITIK DUA Price range per night: from AUD $200 / IDR 2M / USD $135 Room: Titik Dua Deluxe & Signature Jeda Room Highlights: Beautiful architecture and comfortable rooms Showcases contemporary Indonesian art and design (there's even a little art gallery on the bottom floor) Good price for the experience! So many places for a pic! Feels more local than touristy which I liked! (staycation vibes) Things to consider: Location of the hotel is a 15-20 min scooter ride from the main shopping streets Not really walking distance to any cafes or shops, etc Pool is located on the ground floor so the buildings and surrounding trees seem to block the sun As at August 2024, lots of renovations going on so we couldn't use some facilities 📍 HOTEL 2: BISMA EIGHT Price range per night: from AUD $700-1000 / IDR 7-10M / USD $474-674 (fluctuates depending on the season!) BUT the rooms always seem to be on discount. For example, I only paid $475 (40% off). Room: Forest Suite Highlights: GOOD LOCATION! Walking distance to all the central places in Ubud (10 mins from the Monkey Forest, 15 minutes from the shopping strips), yet far enough that its on a nice quiet street. The street also has little restaurants and shops along the way if you don't want to go too far from the hotel. Forest Suite was a highlight! It's located separate to the Garden and Canopy rooms, with a view of the jungle valley. Also VERY spacious. I would pay the extra price to get this suite :) A boutique hotel that gives a resort-y vibe Good facilities - 2 restaurants, 2 gyms, a spa In-house activities - cooking classes, jammu-making classes, dancing classes, sound healing, etc Things to consider: More on the pricier end Pool may be considered small compared to other hotels If you're staying in the villas, it's located separately - a 7 minute walk down the road | 0:00 Hotel hopping in Ubud, Bali 2:32 HOTEL 1: TITIK DUA 2:44 Room Tour (Titik Dua Deluxe Room) and Price 4:42 Exploring the hotel grounds (architecture, Ramu Kitchen, art gallery, street) 7:56 Location and getting around 9:12 House activities (yoga, bicycle ride) 10:16 Complimentary breakfast 11:41 Room Tour (Signature Jeda Room) 13:10 The Pool 14:01 Hotel bar (Coca Hidden Bar) and happy hour 14:48 Room coffee 15:31 Final review of Titik Dua 16:58 HOTEL 2: BISMA EIGHT 17:15 Checking-in 17:53 Room Tour (Forest Suite) and Price 20:43 Location and getting around 21:26 House activities (Jammu Making Class) 23:28 More about the location! 23:56 The Pool 24:29 Hotel Spa (Mandala Spa) 26:03 Complimentary breakfast 27:26 Hotel gym 28:46 Final review of Bisma Eight 30:08 Upcoming Ubud vlogs MY OTHER BALI VLOGS Ubud: • 4 days in Ubud, Bali (dining, forest ...
