In this episode I carve the body with a dull kitchen carving knife (and a block plane and some ill-suited saws), because that's what I had on hand. After a bit of sanding (starting with 40 grit!) the curves came out super smooth and organic. The arm contour reminds me of the edge of a surfboard, which is perfect, since this is a surf guitar. I put a large radius roundover everywhere where there will be no pickguard so that it is fully round, no edge.
