On this journey we spotlight Margaret Arana who finds an album of her old band, Kommunity FK on sale in a small town record shop. The record shop is a part of Not Just Cardboard on Main Street. In 1986 Siouxsie Sioux asked, "Where's Margaret?" after she was handed the record at Geffen Records by drummer Matt Chaikin's mother, Judy Chaikin. Well, "Here's Margaret!" Maggie Arana has written for various Los Angeles-based publications including Music Connection, the now-defunct BAM Magazine, and the AAA travel magazine, Westways. A long-time lover of alternative music, she was a member of legendary early goth-rock band Kommunity FK. Maggie also enjoyed several years in the public relations business where she worked as a staff writer of press releases and other promotional materials. She also runs the rock and roll channel, Why Not Go on YouTube. You'll find lot's of rock and roll memoirs shared of her experience traveling with the Sex Pistols. She is also featured on this channel interviewing, Toby Goldstein at a Record Show in Orlando, Florida. Margaret Arana is also the co-author of Stop Calling Him Honey and Start Having Sex.
