Bread Preparation Bread slices are cut into triangles or squares. A layer of potato stuffing is spread evenly on one slice and covered with another slice to form a sandwich. Coating Process The stuffed bread pieces are dipped fully into the prepared besan batter so that all sides are well coated. Frying Operation Oil is heated in a frying pan. The coated bread pakodas are gently placed in hot oil and deep-fried on medium flame until golden brown and crispy. Draining and Serving Fried pakodas are removed and placed on absorbent paper to remove excess oil. They are served hot with chutney or sauce.
