As guests roamed through the spooky graveyard walking past the coffin crypt props and monuments they noticed this towering gothic vampire grave facade. A flying vampire jump scare startled guests as they went through the walkthrough maze. This custom Halloween mausoleum facade looks like a prop straight out of a Dracula movie and stands at 16' tall. This DIY creepy crypt entrance was made out of sculpted and hard coated foam with wood construction. We made fake brick walls and columns topped with pointed gothic spires. We built several standard wall flats all custom painted and aged to match the surrounding cemetery tombstone props and graveyard entrance gate. Another hidden secret in this crypt decoration was using foam pool noodles for all the column and window details. This tomb of the vampire crypt was a fun project to take on and is such a great addition to the haunted house walkthrough maze.
