As a professional instructor of piano literature, I like to increase awareness of the literature that is available to all of us if we were only aware of it. I hope that this new video series will help to facilitate repertoire exploration and discovery. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐲-𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐝𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧. I will draw from a variety of sources, presenting pieces that: ▪️ are from lesser-known composers ▪️ are rare works from well-known composers ▪️ demonstrate virtuosity ▪️ are easy to play ▪️ I've had the opportunity to perform ▪️ I've learned about from my students ▪️ I've encountered as a piano literature professor ▪️ I have not played but would love to 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐳𝐳𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝟖𝟖 𝐤𝐞𝐲𝐬! I hope that you'll enjoy the series, inspired to take up some of these pieces or do some more exploring on your own.
