STRP Fishing Tutorial Ready to reel in some big catches and make a splash in the fishing scene? Before you cast your line, make sure you've got the essentials: a fishing rod and some bait. Head over to the hunting store, marked by a green deer icon, to stock up on these supplies. With your gear in hand, it's time to hit the shores or venture out into the vast ocean. If you opt for ocean fishing, consider renting a boat from the boat rental for easy access. Remember, returning your rented boat gets you 50% of the fee back, so it's a win-win! Once you're set up at your chosen fishing spot, open your inventory (F2) and drag the fishing rod to the "use" button. Keep an eye on the bobber – when it starts bouncing and turns green, left-click to hook the fish. Reel it in by holding down left-click, but be careful not to let the tension build too much and snap your line! Different fishing spots yield different types of fish, so explore and experiment to discover new catches. Some fish require bait, while others don't – consult the fishing skill for specifics. Now, onto the exciting part – illegal fishing. Turtles and sharks are just a couple of the illegal catches you can snag. To lure turtles, you'll need turtle bait from the black market, purchased with dirty money. Once you've got turtles, use them as bait to reel in sharks, but remember, you'll need a high fishing level and be in the ocean for this to work. To offload your illegal haul, head to the Illegal Fish Dealer marked by a red hook on your map. When you're ready to sell, stand in the green circle at the dealer's location, and watch your fish get sold automatically over time.
