Churchyard Tour. Hackney St John's "previously St Augustine's = Part 1 of 6. Filmed - researched & edited through June 2024. In this episode = We start in the oldest bit of the churchyard, & of course with the oldest graves. & this is where I really get to introduce you, to one of my hobbies "genealogy research" Which because of the layout of the Headstones, I've had to do quite a bit of. & for our historical segment, at the end of this part = What links Hackney Churchyard "to the Popish Plot & the fcuked up murder of magistrate Sir Edmund Berry Godfrey" + favours given by a king, for loans received = what links all that to this old churchyard, is one name on one tombstone.
