Today we go for a quiet and peaceful walk (until the strimmer kicks in and disrupts the peace!) along Church Street in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis where I live. Church street houses a chip shop, Chinese take away, Indian take away/restaurant, Thai takeaway/restaurant, coffee shop, Gaelic meeting place, a couple of barbers and hairdressers, the TA hall, an opticians, vape shop, charity shop, bakery in the old butchers shop, painting and decorating shop, police station and mobile phone repair shop.
