Prince Harry & Meghan Markle might have been accentuating the positive on their recent visit to New York, but inwardly will have been ‘horrified’ by the news that Prince William has hired a man seen to be a major thorn in their side. That’s according to the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden who says that Jason Knauf’s new role at Prince William’s Earthshot Prize, will come as a blow to the Sussexes as he is seen as the one responsible for revealing accusations that Meghan had bullied Palace staff – claims she denies. ‘[It] really is a blow to the Sussexes,’ he tells Palace Confidential, ‘and I think is a sign that William does not see any rapprochement likely with his brother’.
