We are back with another renovation project! I’m currently on-site at a condo in Manorville, NY, giving you a mid-project walkthrough of a complete interior transformation. This property was recently purchased, and the new homeowners brought me in to overhaul the space from top to bottom. From ripping out old, cigarette-scented carpets to vaulting the ceilings in the living room and primary bedroom, we are turning this "dim and dull" condo into a bright, modern living space. Key Highlights of this Renovation: Structural Changes: We vaulted the ceilings in the kitchen, living room, and primary bedroom to create an airy, open feel. The Kitchen: Converting a full wall into a half-wall "breakfast bar" to open up the dining area and increase seating. Major Bathroom Flip: We completely relocated the primary bathroom to improve privacy (no more giant windows in the shower!) and added a custom walk-in closet. Modern Finishes: White cabinets with gold hardware, white quartz countertops with gold veining, and waterproof brown laminate flooring throughout. Lighting Upgrade: Replacing single-bulb fixtures and old ceiling fans with bright, recessed LED high-hats. We are about two weeks into this 30-day renovation. The sheetrock is up, the layout is set, and we are getting ready for paint and flooring!
