Counterclockwise Blue–Israel Trail–Green Loop from the Ramon Crater Observatory (Full Silent Hike POV, ASMR Gravel & Wind). This video documents a silent, continuous circular hike in Makhtesh Ramon, starting near the Ramon Crater Observatory on the northern rim and descending into the crater floor before returning to the cliffs above. The hike begins by following the Blue Trail westward along the crater rim, then continues counterclockwise on the Blue Trail as it descends into the crater interior near Sde Boker Field School–Ramon area, crossing open gravel plains and eroded limestone and sandstone terrain typical of the Negev Highlands. From there, the route turns eastward along a section of the Israel National Trail, traversing the crater floor before ascending back to the rim via the Green Trail, eventually reconnecting with the observatory area. The full hike covers approximately 10 km (6.2 miles) with a cumulative elevation gain of about 385 meters (1266 feet). Trail conditions vary by season: winter and early spring (December–March) generally provide the most comfortable hiking temperatures and firmer gravel surfaces after occasional rain, spring and autumn are typically dry with stable footing but warmer midday conditions, and summer (May–September) brings extreme heat and fully exposed terrain, making early morning starts essential. Wildlife sightings are possible throughout the year, with Nubian ibex commonly observed along the crater walls and slopes. The video is presented as a silent hiking ASMR experience, featuring only natural ambient sounds such as gravel underfoot and soft desert wind, without narration or music, emphasizing the scale, textures, and quiet of the Ramon Crater landscape. Nevada-Utah like desert landscape. This video is best viewed on high-resolution 4K HDR displays. Producing such videos takes much effort.
