In this section, we will talk more about the Second Great Migration. Because we know that at the end of this great migration, Homo neanderthals began to appear. This migration and isolation, which started 650,000 years ago, divides this branch into two different types; It led to the evolution of Homo sapiens in Africa and Homo neanderthals in Europe. 300,000 years ago, when the ice age hardened, other animals living in Europe and Homo neanderthals evolved according to the cold climate and conditions of the region and underwent head, face and body changes. The first fossils to complement Homo neanderthals began to come from the Engis and Forbes Quarry Caves in Belgium and from various parts of Europe between 1829 and 1848. The name "Neanderthal" was given to this human species because of the fossil identified and found in the Neander valley near Düsseldorf, Germany, in 1856.
