I find foreigners in anime to be very interesting - because depending on how they are portrayed, it can say a lot about how the creator views people from other countries. However, that discussion isn't entirely going to be the focus of this video. No, today I am discussing two different characters from two completely separate anime, those being Asobi Asobase and Strawberry Marshmallow. Within those two shows, there is a white girl who has blonde hair and blue eyes - who CAN'T speak English and is also a native Japanese speaker. On top of that, both these characters also have to PRETEND that they know English. Both of these are pretty underrated anime in my opinion, and would definitely make the cut if I had to do a list of my anime recommendations. Let me introduce you to Olivia and Ana Coppola.
