Over 2 million dogs are killed for their meat every year in South Korea. Estimated to be a $2 billion industry, dog meat is most commonly eaten during the hot summer months in a spicy stew called “Boshintang." On a recent visit to South Korea, we went inside two farms where dogs would either be sold off as meat or to illegal dog fighting rings.
