If you too prefer a lasagna that is so full of meat sauce, mozzarella and ricotta cheese that you practically have to eat it out of a bowl - welcome to your new favorite lasagna recipe. #lasagna #meatsauce #noboil #lasagnarecipe #ricotta #easyrecipes #dinnerideas #groundbeef #mozzarealla #cheese Don’t miss my other videos - checkout these playlists: The Dessert Collection • The Dessert Collection Comfort Food Favorites • Comfort Food Favorites Lasagna Ingredients: 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 cup chopped onions 1 cup chopped carrots 3 cloves garlic minced 1 pound lean ground beef 2 cups crushed tomatoes (with basil or herbs) 12oz tomato paste 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon dried basil 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper lasagna noodles 15oz ricotta cheese 2 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese 1/2 cup hot water Directions: -Preheat oven to 375º -In a large pot over medium heat, sauté onions and carrots in the olive oil for about 8-10 minutes. Add garlic and continue to cook for another minute. -Add ground beef and cook until browned -Reduce heat to low. Combine the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, sugar, salt and pepper with the ground beef mixture and simmer covered for 25 minutes. Stir frequently. -Spread 1/3 of the meat sauce on the bottom of a lightly greased 9x13 inch backing dish. Layer on top noodles and half of both the ricotta and mozzarella cheeses. Repeat for another layer. -Add final 1/3 of meat sauce to top of last layer and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. -Pour the hot water around the inside edges of the dish. -Cover tightly with foil and bake at for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes. -Let stand for 10-15 minutes. Enjoy!
