HOW TO OPEN YOUR EYES UNDERWATER LIKE A PROFESSIONAL MERMAID 💜 Pro Mermaid Tips & Tricks to Soothe and Prevent Eye Irritation from Swimming 💜 Can you swim with your eyes open in the water? I swim in Lake Michigan and in Chlorine with my eyes open ALL of the time! Using some of the recommendations that my Ophthalmologist gave to me for my severely dry eyes, I have come up with some techniques to help alleviate the pain of swimming with your eyes wide open. WITH THAT BEING SAID!!! I open my eyes underwater as part of my act as a Professional Mermaid. However, it isn't necessarily the safest thing to do and shouldn't be done unless you need to do it (or on rare occasions)! If you do want to open your eyes underwater a lot and DO want to use the products and techniques that I recommend, then please consult your Ophthalmologist first.
