On my last trip to Japan I found out about goshuin and how to collect them from shrines and temples. It is a great way to get more immersed in Japanese culture, and anyone can collect goshuin when they visit temples and shrines. In this video I talk about how you can do this too, and look through the goshuin I collected during my trip to Tokyo. There are some ways to prepare in advance, I recommend looking up shrines and temples to see recently shared goshuin on this Japanese website: https://omairi.club/ To search on this website you will need to copy/paste the Japanese name of the shrine, this is usually under the english/romanised name on Google Maps, e.g. Meiji Jingu 明治神宮 ← copy this one If you want to look at online stores like Loft for the goshuin-cho (goshuin book), copy and paste the Japanese word below in the search bar: 御朱印帳 - goshuin-cho Let me know if you have a favourite goshuin you have collected, or if you have a favourite that I have shown in this video!
