The plan was set—we were finally going to use our savings to book a relaxing, sun-soaked trip to Bali. I could already taste the fresh coconut water! But then, Milly looked at the cement bags, the unfinished walls, and the bare rooms of our new house... and she had a lightbulb moment that changed everything. She turned to me with that look in her eye the one that means she's about to turn our world upside down. Her idea was so smart, so ambitious, and so left-field, that I had to sit down.
