We live in an age where truth is managed, justice is selective, and silence is mistaken for neutrality. In this powerful Jumu’a Khutba, we are reminded that Allah did not end prophethood because guidance was no longer needed—but because its responsibility was transferred to the Ummah. Allah says: “Thus We made you a balanced nation so that you may be witnesses over humanity.” (Qur’an 2:143) A witness does not merely believe. A witness observes, stands, and testifies—especially when falsehood dominates and injustice is normalised. Silence in the face of truth is not innocence; it is complicity. This khutba calls us back to our prophetic role: • To stand for justice, even against ourselves • To resist the private sins that weaken our moral authority • To hold firmly to the Rope of Allah—the Qur’an—together, not in isolation • To raise a generation anchored in faith, clarity, and courage The world does not need more commentators. It needs witnesses. And Allah has already chosen who they are. 📖 Weekly Tafsīr Class: Tuesdays at 6:30pm 🧒 Sunday Madrassah (Ages 7–15): Enrolments open 🤲 Support this sadaqah jāriyah by contributing with reference: “Madrassah” May Allah make us witnesses—first over our own souls, then over humanity.
