Don't Use a Humidity Dome for Seed Starting

Today's video is here to help you some more with your seed starting. I often see kits and other seed-starting setups sold with humidity domes. The purpose of a humidity dome is to keep the moisture up around your seeds so that they germinate faster. But this comes with a big disadvantage. Humidity domes are tall! That prevents us from getting our lights really close to our seedlings which is what we need to have good strong, healthy seedlings. Those lights need to be close when the seedlings are young! Instead of a humidity dome for seed starting I recommend a simple piece of plastic wrap.
