No bake Pineapple Upside down cake | Steamed cake (Easy Recipe) Topping Ingredients: 1/2 cup unsalted butter/margarine 3/4 cup light brown sugar 7 pcs. pineapple slices 7 pcs. cherry slices Chiffon cake: 1 cup all purpose flour 1/2 cup white sugar 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 2 tbsp powdered milk 4 egg yolks 1/4 cup water 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1 tsp vanilla extract Merigue: 4 egg whites 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 tsp white vinegar Topping procedure: 1) Melt light brown sugar and butter. Cook over medium low heat for 1-2 min. 2) Pour melted butter and sugar into the cake pan and spread it evenly 3) Arrange pineapple and cherries. Set aside Cake Procedure: 1) Bring water to a boil 2) Combine all purpose flour, white sugar, powdered milk, salt and baking powder 3) In a separate bowl combine egg yolks, water, vegetable oiland vanilla extract.
