What if you had to fight your way to the overworld? What if you started in the utmost bottom of the world? Today I wanted to take on Abyssal Ascent in hardcore, a modpack that stacks dimensions on top of each other to create a pretty cool adventure, you start in the Undergarden, the bottom of the world and you're tasked to fight your way up to the overworld which according to the abyssal ascent trailer, is 2000 blocks. Every dimension you dig through has it's own set of unique challenges and obstacles. you have to take on a bunch of bosses to unlock the materials needed to craft the pickaxe to mine into the next dimension. I wanted to fight as many bosses as possible and tried to be a mage. "In collaboration with EclipseILX, we present to you a Minecraft Modpack utilising dimension stack from immersive portals to vertically stack 12+ dimensions, and you spawn at the very bottom of this hellish world, fight your way up to return to the surface in singleplayer or in multiplayer, with proximity voice chat - where you once belonged, battling through extreme conditions and hellish creatures, can you escape the abyss?" -Aimsell on curseforge My honest opinion about this pack is that it needs a lot of work obviously, i died about 3-4 times to suffocation damage or just straight up falling through the dimensions when i was supposed to move on to the following dimension. The pack felt abandoned and that made me less motivated to actually complete the pack in it's entirety, but it was still fun none the less
