5 days in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 | December ❄️ | Disneyland, Victoria Peak Tram, Mongkok

Hi! I’m Sydney from the Philippines. When I was in high school, I used to wonder why my family and I never traveled like other families during summer break. I’d see my friends visiting Disneyland or exploring temples in Thailand, and I thought, “I’d love to do that too someday.” The thing is, I grew up in a homebody family. We didn’t like long rides or spontaneous plans — we just loved staying at home. When I turned 18 and started earning, I thought, “Maybe now I can travel!” But life had other plans. I took on jobs that kept me rooted in the Philippines — from being a makeup artist, events assistant, courtside reporter, and radio jock trainee, to a TV presenter and now working in tech operations. By 2025, I’ll have been working for 10 years. And this year, I prayed and manifested one thing: that life would finally let me travel and enjoy the things I’ve worked so hard for. For the past two years, I’ve loved watching silent vlogs — while doing my makeup, eating, or winding down before bed. There’s something about them that brings me peace and quiet after long days of work. So now, I’m creating my own.
