5 year journal Takahashi Shoten No.19

I found this Takahashi Shoten 5 year journal that I fell for. Time will tell if I like it more than the Hobonichi 5-year Techo that I have been using since 2018 - or if I still need to keep searching for my dream five year journal. My dream criteria for a 5 year journal: good quality paper - not yet sure about the Takahashi Shoten paper... lay-flat binding ✅ it does stay open with training smaller than A5 ✅ B6 predated ✅ no dating needed 🤭 enough space to write - will see... not blank so it's easy to write in a straight line ✅ meets my aesthetics ✅ but I would enjoy a simpler design too (without holidays etc.) About the PEN TEST I'm still undecided on what pen to use and I have kept testing different pens. Now I think it's not about the ink, but about the amount of the ink if it bleeds through or not. After filming I have tested successfully without bleed-through: Pentel Energel Permanent Gel Ink 0.7 in black Pentel Energel Liquid Gel Ink 0.7 in violet BUT the same pen (Pentel Energel Liquid Gel Ink 0.7) in magenta color and stronger ink flow bled the most of all the pens that I have tested. From that I could draw the conclusion that it's not about the ink itself but about the AMOUNT of the ink. So Takahashi shoten paper doesn't seem to handle wet pens very well.
