Our journey through Belarus has been eye-opening! It has been completely different from every other country we've visited and the challenge of communicating through hand gestures has been hard but is definitely something we've enjoyed. The streets of Brest were amazing with loads of food options, shopping centres, and plenty of attractions. While here you definitely need to visit the Brest fortress which is a UNESCO world heritage site. The fortress was used in both WWI & WWII and the monuments there are breathtaking! Right in the centre of Brest, they have the central markets which are full of delicious foods! Perfect for food shopping for the week.
