🍽️ Japanese Hamburg Steak (Simple Demi-Glace Style Sauce) (Serves 2) 🌸Ingredients Ground meat (beef & pork mix): 200g Onion: 1/2 Carrot: 1/3 Small potatoes: 4 Breadcrumbs: 10g Egg: 1 Salt & pepper: to taste 🌸Ingredients (Sauce) Butter: 30g Ketchup: 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce: 2 tbsp Water: 150ml 🌸Instructions 1.Finely chop the onion. 2.Sauté the onion until golden brown and set aside. 3.Cut the carrot and potatoes. 4.Boil the carrot and potatoes until tender, then drain. 5.In a bowl, add breadcrumbs, ground meat, egg, sautéed onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well. 6.Shape into 2 patties. 7.Cook the patties in a pan until cooked through. 8.Remove the patties from the pan. 9.Add the hamburg steak sauce ingredients to the pan. 10.Heat until bubbling, then add the patties and vegetables. 11.Simmer until the sauce thickens. 🌸Note In Japan, hamburg steak is usually eaten like a steak, not in a bun.
