Animal population comparison, animals ranked by population, rare animals, endangered species, most common animals on Earth, wildlife statistics, global animal numbers, animal population ranking from rarest to most common. How many animals of each species actually live on Earth? In this video, we compare the population of 50 different animals, ranking them from the rarest and most endangered species all the way to the most common animals on the planet — plus a couple of microorganisms at the very end for scale. You’ll see a full animal population comparison across: 🐯 Mammals (big cats, elephants, whales and more) 🐦 Birds with tiny and massive global populations 🐟 Fish and marine animals that fill the oceans 🐍 Reptiles and other land species 🐜 Insects that exist in mind-blowing numbers 🦠 A few bacteria / microorganisms added only for scale comparison We start with critically endangered animals with only a few dozen or a few hundred individuals left, and finish with the most abundant creatures that exist in billions, trillions, or even higher estimated counts. To build this global animal population ranking, we: 1. Collected population estimates from wildlife databases, conservation reports, and scientific summaries 2. Chose representative animals from different groups (land, sea, air, insects, microorganisms) 3. Ordered them from lowest to highest estimated global population 4. Turned the data into a simple visual comparison, so you can easily see how rare or common each species is ⚠️ DisclaimerThis video is for entertainment and general educational purposes only. All population values are approximate estimates and can change over time due to breeding, habitat loss, conservation efforts, climate change, and new research. Different sources may report different numbers. The ranking is meant as a rough comparison, not as exact scientific data. If you enjoy wildlife facts, rare animals lists, and data-style nature comparisons, you’ll love seeing these animal populations compared side by side — from species on the edge of extinction to creatures that literally dominate the planet. 👉 Question for you:Which animal’s population surprised you the most — the rarest species or the most common one at the end? 👍 If you liked this video, don’t forget to like, comment и subscribe / @scalecompare for more animal rankings, comparison videos, and data-style visuals.
