Prayer Text: Epshian 3:5-6, Colossians 1:25-27 Focus: Revealed in Specific Times - It was beyond knowledge In Ephesians, in the third chapter, Paul was talking to this whole church about the mystery. He says in chapter 3 verse 5 "God did not reveal it." That's an interesting thing there are some things that are time-released. Parts of God's plan and His purpose are released at a specific time. Jesus himself was planned before the foundation of the world. But Hebrews says "he was revealed in these last days for us." Galatians tell us that it was in the "fullness of time." So not only was Jesus revealed but portions of God's plan are also revealed; it makes you wonder what else is to be revealed. For us to think that we know everything there is to know about God's purpose and plan would be a little regrettable; We're working with God. This was a part of what was being revealed when Paul was writing to this church in Ephesus, and we're still trying to catch up with this element of revelation in verses 5-6. "I did not reveal it to previous generations but now by his Spirit, he has revealed it to his holy apostles and prophets. And this is God's plan both Gentiles and Jews who believe in the goodnews share equally and the riches inherited by god's children both are part of the same body and enjoy the promise of blessings because they belong to Christ." Well of course that's not hard for us now there was a time when that was a radical revelation.
