"Madeleines" is the embodiment of every little thing that makes people happy - that the smallest things can make a terrible day bearable. In the context of Aloe and Lotus, with the world against them, their love, and their ambition, a simple plate of madeleines and some time together makes the ever increasing troubles of the world seem a bit more distant for a while. IM VERY GLAD I GOT TO PUT OUT THIS ALBUM BEFORE PRIDE MONTH ENDED :D "Aloe & Lotus" is the culmination of what we've seen for Aloe Vera and Lotus Blossom's more intimate relationship. The "Lotus" EP from last year was more representative of Lotus' desire for something that seemed out of reach. The Aloe EP, or Aloe & Lotus installment, is quite literally Aloe's response of pursuit. So in other words, I hope y'all enjoy this lesbian album. Be sure to go check out everyone who helped make this project possible below!
