German Cooperation Startup Camp - Digital Summit Western Balkans 6 |

The German Cooperation StartUp Camp was organized as part of the Western Balkans Digital Summit, Skopje 2018. It was financial support from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Deutsche Geselschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)and implemented with support from SmartUp Social Innovation Lab - http://innovationlab.mk/ . The Startup Camp took place at the Sports Center “Boris Trajkovski”, across the main EXPO hall. In total 15 people participated on the Startup camp, all being founders or people in decision making positions in the startups coming from all Western Balkans 6 countries. Happening in an informal atmosphere, the activities in the scope of the startup camp enabled ideas and knowledge to be exchanged between startups and companies attending the Digital Summit. There were four different key lines of activities: 1. Inspirational talks that address startups; 2. Workshop: “Winning founders: how to communicate, pitch, and sell like a world-class startup CEO” for the participating startups” 3. Open innovation lab and 4. Pitching competition SmartUp as an implementing organization in general was taking care of the: overall coordination of the event to ensure smooth and timely implementation of the agenda, logistical and technical support of all participating startups, experts and guests PR activities, photography & video shooting and editing facilitation of the Open Innovation Lab
