Advancing into rifles now and by advancing I mean moving backwards in time to a flintlock. This was an absolute blast to fire and really the day of filming this and a bit of trial and error was a fun one well spent with my family. My dad has been incredibly patient while I mess around with these so he is the real MVP. Also no guns were hurt while filming (referencing the doorway scene) I was careful. I did however, manage to mess up the first load resulting in my dad and husband spending an hour figuring out how to fix it. My Uncle Jim has been referenced in a couple of my black powder videos, he is my dads youngest brother and has been making black powder firearms for as long as I can remember. This Kentucky flintlock is number 15 , he made it for my dad, and said this is the last one he said he was going to make.
