Racing as Pipsy in Bubbler's Course. This is a rematch race. NOTE: Yes, I did bad in this boss race. I wanted to show that it is possible to win this race, even if you unintentionally drive into bubbles. I even used Pipsy for those of you who love to use her. She has the lowest top speed out of the other characters. In Bubbler's Course, I normally get red balloons and shoot missiles at the octopus by the end of the 1st lap. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay, I've been seeing comments on other videos saying that the octopus is harder than the walrus. So I decided to upload this to show everyone that this boss course is not as difficult as people say it is. In my opinion, Bluey's Course is harder than Bubbler's Course. I also have a video of me racing against Bluey as Pipsy during the rematch. It's actually harder than this boss race. Link to that video is here: • Diddy Kong Racing - Walrus Race 2 as Pipsy Unfortunately, most people find this octopus harder than the walrus. The reason why they're making this boss course harder than Bluey's Course is because they're not using the blue balloons properly, and because they're using red and blue balloons, obviously mixing them up. In my opinion, using red and blue balloons will actually hurt your chances of winning this race, even though it may not seem like it. I have the speedometer showing instead of the course map, so you can see how fast I'm going. It's helpful, especially if you're having trouble trying to determine how long the green boost is supposed to last. HOVERCRAFT TIP: Do not-- I repeat-- DO NOT hold the R button as you're going straight forward. Don't hold Down on the analog stick either. Doing either of those things WILL decrease your speed with the hovercraft. Only use the R button for sharp turns. It's better than turning on ground and water without the R button. From my experience of using blue balloons with the hovercraft, if you drive into a bubble 3 to 4 times, you will lose against Bubbler. There are 2 ways to win. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Blue balloons: If you've managed to avoid the bubbles near the beginning of the 1st lap, get the first blue balloon power up and save it. After coming out of the semi-tunnel, get the second blue balloon power up. As you're approaching the finish line while avoiding the bubbles, use the level 2 blue balloon power up. During this time, have your finger OFF the accelerator for 1 and a half-second until the multicolored smoke disappears, and THEN accelerate again. Repeat this trick for the 2nd and 3rd lap. Just be careful not to drive into any bubbles. Red balloons: As you begin the race, get the first red balloon power up and save it. After bypassing the first blue balloon power up, carefully get the second red balloon power up next to the bubble and save it. Continue on the course, and bypass the second blue balloon power up. As you're approaching the finish line, get the third red balloon. If you didn't get the second red balloon power up in the semi-tunnel, get the fourth red balloon power up. You should have 10 missiles by the end of the 1st lap. Finally, shoot the octopus like there's no tomorrow! But be sure to have at least 1 missile so that you can get 10 again by getting another red balloon power up. Repeat this trick if you're still in 2nd place. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I personally think that Bluey is harder than Bubbler. The reason why I say that is because there are only 2 blue balloons and 5 red balloons during the rematch. There are only so many power ups you can use in Bluey's Course. The first time Bluey is raced, there are 5 blue balloon power ups and 5 red balloon power ups, and he's not as fast as he is during the rematch, making it very easy to win, even without power ups. The second race against Bluey is a completely different story. To view the playlist of the aftermath, click on this link: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list...
