How to size & fit the Mediroyal Ulnar Deviation Splint

Alison Coyle Occupational Therapist and Registered Hand Therapist introduces the Mediroyal NRX Ulnar Deviation splint and demonstrates how to fit and size it. Metal core is mouldable to the arch of the hand and the finger pieces are mouldable between the fingers. Ulnar deviation is common in clients with rheumatoid arthritis. Alison discusses how ulnar deviation occurs and limits the clients hand movement. The NRX Ulnar deviation splint is designed as a volar platform with a mouldable metal core covered in NRX material. The metal core can be adjusted and shaped to provide stability to the MCP joints and to hold the palmer arch.
