Hi, there are RV and camper owners. Today we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install MaxxFan's deluxe RV roof vent, fan with thermostat. And this is what our vent looks like when it's installed. We've currently got it in the functioning position where it raises itself up and the exhaust and intake are both going to be located here on the backside. And since this is underneath, that means that we can use this in any weather. Whether it's raining or snowing out, the moisture is going to hit on top here, and we're not going to suck it in and it's not going to get inside. So if you're looking for event that you can use all year round in any kind of weather conditions, this is going to be a great option for you. When you turn your vent off, it does retract and this unit will actually go down and sit pretty flush with our roof. The event openings here does have a screen mesh behind it to help keep out any critters so we don't have to worry about any intrusion. It does have a little bit of an opening. So some tiny mites could potentially get by, but most other insects won't be able to get it. And you can get this fan in two different colors. You can get it with the smoked black top that you see here where it's kind of a transparent dark color, or you can also get it with a white top. Whichever one you like the best. The black one I personally like just because it kind of shades the sun coming through. So it's a little bit darker which can also help keep things a little bit cooler. And now here on the inside, we can see our fan. It has a screen on it to further protect any insects and things like that coming in also to protect your hands. So if you are stretching out, you don't accidentally touch one of the blades up there.Your control panel is going to be located here. Where you can hurt it on and off, choose the direction and adjust your thermostat. As well as opening and close the lid for the unit. The knob here allows you to manually open and close the unit if you wanted to. You could turn it to open it, turn it to close it. But for the most part, the things that are up here, you're really never going to mess with. Because it comes with a remote. And we can do everything from the remote that we can do right here on the fan. And this is nice especially if you had a large RV with a high roof, maybe where you can't reach up there. This one's not that big of a deal. But we have this installed in their bathroom and we can be sitting on the toilet, not be able to reach it up here, but we can just grab our remote that we have hanging on the wall and then turn it on and do whatever we need to do.The fan can spin in either direction, whether we want it to be an exhaust or an intake, you can see here on the remote. It currently says air out. So it's operating at as an exhaust. We can press the button there and then that will switch it to become an intake. And it changes the direction of the fan. And now we're drawing air in. And we can set this up however we need it for the current weather conditions. A thermostat does come included with it and it's built into the unit and you can see here. It shows the temperature of the room was about 65. And we have a thermostat that we can change to the desired temperature. If we have it set to a higher temperature than what the room currently is at, the fan will turn itself off after it detects it. And if we have it set to a lower temperature than what the room is, the fan will turn on to help cool down the room. You can also adjust your fan speed in 10% increments. And we can hear here at the lowest speed, it's almost completely silent. You can't even really tell that it's running. And then if we kick it all the way up to a 100, you can hear the fan and you can really feel the air coming from this. We're having quite a bit of air here in the room. So, if you needed to remove some smells really fast, we can easily turn it on air out 100%. And in no time you would have that flushed out of here. So it wouldn't affect anybody else inside of your camper. The auto button here is what allows you to turn it onto thermostat control. So since we're currently set for 61 is our set temperature. Since it's 66 currently inside, the fan is on.And if we go up, it changes the direction of the fan to get it to where we need it to be. The closer we are to the
