13-year old prodigy Vincent Keymer WINS the Grenke Chess Open with 8/9

One of the most insane and interesting tournament result in recent chess history. The 13 year old Vincent Keymer, bested several top ranked Grandmasters to become the sole winner of the GRENKE Chess Open and securing his spot in the 2019 GRENKE Chess Classic with the big boys! To win the tournament outright, Keymer had to defeat a top-tier Super GM in Richard Rapport, and with the black pieces to boot! No small feat by this promising prodigy! The 13-year old seems to be a generational talent judging from this result and he is currently being trained by Super Grandmaster Peter Leko.
