Hi Friends! This is part 1 of a 2 part wire wrapping tutorial on how to make a wire-wrapped cuff bracelet and then in the same steps, make a gorgeous wire-wrapped sidebar pendant! This all originates from my Midway Station tutorial where I show us how to capture a small stone cabochon in the middle of a wire. Then using that same single wire, we create a gorgeous Bar Frame. From these same steps, you can use the base bar frame to create the beautiful Cuff Bracelet by bending the bar arms, or use the bar frame to create the matching pendant! I created my Midway Station wire wrapping cabochon technique so that we can capture a stone in the middle of a wire, rather than at the ends...which we still need sometimes, but we can add this technique to our skillset. From capturing the cabochon in the middle of the wire, you can then use both ends to create design in 1001 ways. Use cabs between 6mm and 12mm, either oval or round are the best sizes for this technique. Bigger cabs should use a different technique, which you can find many of in my TUTORIALS playlist!
