This video is how to troubleshoot a doorbell chime that is buzzing. The first thing to check is if your doorbell button is stuck and causing the buzzing noise. If that isn't it there is most likely a problem with the insulation on the wires of the doorbell that is causing the buzzing. You will want to inspect the wires leading up to the doorbell button to see if the wire are touching. Also, check the mechanical chime of the doorbell to see if the wires are touching there causing the doorbell buzzing. If you can't figure out the problem and want to stop your doorbell chime from buzzing (humming or chiming) disconnect the power to the transformer.
