Thank you! Jenna and Bethany Reid play fiddle & piano as well as a double fiddle set at the end. They were born & bred in Shetland and began fiddling at a young age under the watchful eye of the late Willie Hunter. Following her music degree, Jenna performed with Dóchas & Deaf Shepherd & is a member of Blazin’ Fiddles, and with Bethany and two others, created the innovative fiddle quartet Rant. Jenna’s 5th solo album Working Hands is a stunning collection of original compositions, performed alongside a collection of the finest musicians. Jenna and Bethany cowrote the album "Escape, The Story of Jan Baalsrud and the Shetland Bus", based on the true story of a World War II hero, Jan Baalsrud, a Norwegian who took part in the nighttime sailings between Shetland and occupied Norway. The sisters curated 3 years of the Shetland Fiddle Frenzy festival, delivering a week-long package of tuition, concerts, day trips and sessions.
