Wanted accused with a reward of Rs. 15000 under Sector 142 Police and Gangster Act arrested after police encounter. On the night of 24/25.04.25, Sector 142 Police was checking on FNG service road when a suspicious person was seen coming from the front. When he was signaled to stop, he did not stop and tried to run away. On suspicion, the police party chased the said person. Seeing himself surrounded, the said criminal opened fire on the police force with the intention to kill. In the retaliatory action taken by the police party, the criminal got injured due to a bullet in his leg. He has been identified as Anil Kumar son Lalkaran resident of village Daharpur Kalan police station Musajhag tehsil Dataganj district Bandayu, present address rented house lane no. 4 village Ilahabans police station Phase 2 Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar age 23 years. 1 illegal pistol 12 bore with 01 empty cartridge, 1 live cartridge 12 bore has been recovered from the possession of the accused. He has been sent to the hospital for treatment. On enquiring, it was found that the above accused Anil Kumar is a wanted criminal in case no. 26/25 section 2/3 of Gangster Act, on which a reward of Rs. 15,000 has been declared against Anil by Mr. Deputy Commissioner of Police. The accused Anil Kumar along with his accomplices commits incidents of theft. In this regard, many cases are registered against the accused. After thorough interrogation, it was found that the accused, along with his accomplice Rohit Kumar, had stolen an e-rickshaw from Sector 144, FNG Road on 06.10.24, in connection with which FIR No. 127/24 under Section 303(2) BNS vs. Unknown was registered on 07.10.2024. And on 30.10.24 also, the said accused had stolen an e-rickshaw from in front of Maruti Company in Sector 140, in connection with which FIR No. 152/24 under Section 303(2) BNS vs. Unknown was registered at this police station. In both the above cases, the accused have already gone to jail and earlier also accused Anil was arrested in a police encounter along with his partner Rohit Kumar son of Birbal Singh, in which the accused, after being released on bail, was roaming around near FNG Road Crossing Tiraha waiting for his other partner to commit crime again.
