I'm trying to do videos each day of the new chicks. I've got 11 Mottled Houdan chicks and 6 Appenzeller Spitzhauben Gold Chamois chicks. I know I'm always desperate to figure out who's a boy or girl. If you can see, I just changed their bedding and they have already started making a mess. So. And for some reason, they're like kicking right there and trying to jump. I don't know what that's about. Yeah, they're jumping crazy little things. So I've been having to change their paper towels at least once a day, sometimes more. There's a pretty baby hiding over there. So far, I haven't lost anybody. So, I mean, you can see that one like dead tired, passed out. Hopefully that keeps up. Cause I can use all of these. They're all rare. Hard to find. They have been distracting me while I'm trying to do videos for my husband. Look at that. Watch him. Watch what she does. Look at her pulling the food out. Little twit. Watch, see. I don't know why they do that. Why are you guys doing that? You're making a mess. You’re making a mess. These guys kind of look like they have eyeliner on. Well, this is Wednesday. I just set eggs a little bit ago. Um, I think these guys are now a week old. You can see a lot of feather development on them. I really like on these birds that I haven't grown out yet doing these videos because I can always go back and look at. I'm trying to discover who's a boy, who's a girl, what looks good, what doesn't. So there you go. More Mohawks coming in. I wonder why they're two different shades on the golden chamois. Cause I've got some that are reddish yellow and then some that are just pure yellow. Huh. Kind of interesting. I'll probably keep these guys here in the house until the 15th or the 16th, because that'll be when I get my others. And I'll move these guys in their bucket out into the shop. So. All right. There's the mottled hood, and. And the Appenzeller Spitzhaubens for the day. Well, here are my Houdan babies. This is Thursday. I got them last week on Friday. And they were born on Wednesday. So they're a week and a day old today. These are Houdans, Mottled Houdans. There is 11 Mottled Houdans, and there are six Appenzeller Spitzhaubens, Gold Chamois. And you can see they're growing every day. Wow. They just keep getting bigger. They're kind of chillin out a little bit. Friends for me talking to them. So far, nobody sick, no pasty. But I've actually been really, really impressed with Cackle Hatchery and they if I buy from them, I usually get them within 24 to 48 hours. Actually closer, 24 to 36. So so far so good. I've not had any problems. Anyways, that's the babies today. You can see we got little butt feathers all growing out. Hi guys, this is Chris with Chickens for Chicks.
