What many may not know is that for more than eight years, Andrew and Anya have carried a profound longing to become parents. Their journey has been marked by miscarriages, complications, countless fertility appointments, and long seasons of quiet grief. Through every loss, they continued to faithfully love and lead others in their church community and beyond—offering encouragement, prayer, and stability even while their own hearts were breaking. Just over a year ago, their journey took an unexpected and devastating turn when doctors discovered a large mass growing inside Anya’s uterus. The required treatment was a hysterectomy, and although the mass was thankfully determined to be benign, it closed the natural door for Anya to carry a child herself. This loss was not only physical, but deeply emotional—the seeming finality of a dream they had held onto for so long. Yet even in that season, Andrew and Anya chose hope, faith, and love.
