The beautiful Walser village of Tschiertschen is a sight in itself, and it is a great starting point for hiking or cycling tours. During winter, numerous lifts take you up to a family-friendly ski and winter sports resort. Tschiertschen is officially the most beautiful mountain village in Graubünden. At first glance, the choice is surprising. But those who get to know the Schanfigg village and the people living in its sun-tanned wooden houses better will suddenly find themselves in an unexpected love story. Nestled in the midst of mountain ranges lies Tschiertschen, a traditional village in the Schanfigg valley with beautiful views of the landscape. Tschiertschen is the ideal holiday destination for those equally interested in sports, culture and relaxation. Discover beautiful old wooden buildings on a leisurely stroll through the village, enjoy spectacular views of the valley and meet friendly locals. Tschiertschen in summer is a veritable Paradise for hikers and cyclists. Experience true freedom in the fantastic mountain landscape of Tschiertschen. Away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds, there are a total of 70 kilometres of hiking trails surrounding the village. There are routes connecting Tschiertschen to neighbouring towns like Arosa, Lenzerheide and Churwalden - and of course up to the most beautiful mountain peaks. Along the way you can stop off at cosy alp huts and restaurants like at Ochsenalp, Weisshorn or Hörnlihütte. For mountain bikers, there is a choice between a variety of routes, for example from Jochalp to the Hühnerköpfe.
