‪@carpassion2019‬ 10 minute video on how to replace a starter engine on a N55 6-cylinder BMW engine. This was a friend's 2012 BMW X5 35i that had starting issues every now and then. I had to perform the replacement at his house, as I couldn't start the car to bring it to my garage, not even after 20+ attempts. It just wouldn't crank anymore. It took me almost 2 hours from start to finish, taking my time to clean the throttle body and the intake side of the engine head. During the repair I also noticed that 2 plastic pipes of the fuel tank Evap system were cracked due to age, so I ordered them that day and replaced them 5 days later.
