The Kingdom of Heaven: Greater than Jonah and Solomon 📖 Matthew 12:38–42 🔥 Matthew 12:38–43 — You ask for a sign, but deny the ones in front of you 🔥 What happens when religious people demand proof from a God who has already revealed Himself? In this teaching from Matthew 12:38–43, Jesus confronts the Pharisees after they demand a miraculous sign to prove His authority. Instead of giving them what they ask for, Jesus exposes the true condition of their hearts and declares that only one sign will be given—the sign of Jonah. Jesus points to His coming death, burial, and resurrection, but He also goes deeper. Jonah’s experience led an entire pagan city to repentance. Solomon’s wisdom drew a foreign queen to worship the God of Israel. Yet now, Someone greater than Jonah and greater than Solomon stands before them—and they refuse to repent. This message challenges us to wrestle with hard questions: Are we asking God for more signs when He’s already spoken clearly? Have we mistaken knowledge of Scripture for submission to Jesus? Are there areas of our hearts we’ve kept locked away from repentance? Jesus isn’t interested in renting a room in your heart. He wants the whole house. True repentance invites the breath of God into every hidden place, and only then do we experience the full power of the Kingdom of Heaven. 👉 If you’ve seen God move but haven’t fully surrendered, this message is for you.
