TIG welding an aluminium dolly! - Scheibe Falke SF-25b motor glider - Airplane restoration #13

Welcome to episode 13 of our motor glider restoration. This episode will be a little different than usual. Rather than working on the plane we will make a fuselage dolly. This dolly will be used to keep the fuselage upright during the restoration process, and later on in a trailer. We make the dolly out of aluminium for two reasons: because it is lighter and will less likely cause damage during handling around the fuselage, and because it's a nice way to practice TIG welding a bit.
