First off, thanks for clicking on this video. I hope you enjoy the song! As mentioned, this is my first ever Vocaloid song and it marks the beginning of my journey as a Vocaloid producer! "Inadequate" wasn't the song I imagined sitting down and writing as my first ever vocal synth song. But life decided to throw me a curveball and this is what came of it. As such, it's a pretty personal track and I hope at least someone out there can relate to it. If you've ever been made to feel less than you're worth - be it at work, school, home, or wherever - then this song is dedicated to you. To the newcomers, welcome! A quick flip through the rest of the channel will make it pretty obvious that this type of song is pretty outside my norm. In truth it's the first song of its kind I've ever written to completion! It's far from groundbreaking in any way (the whole song only uses 2 chords lol) but I'm alright with that. All part of the learning experience, and I'm happy with it regardless. Part of releasing this first was also to set the expectation from day 1 that I'm not gonna put myself in any sort of musical box with my vocal synth career. I'm gonna write whatever style of songs I feel like writing, be it pop, rock, metal, MEME, whatever! Nevermind the covers I have planned! I hope you'll come along on this journey with me because I've got SO MANY exciting things in the pipeline! One last fun little tidbit of info - the artwork for this song, drawn by me, was my first drawing I've done in easily a decade or more, so be kind lol. It was also my first time drawing digitally with a drawing tablet, and I had a ton of fun! Definitely a skill I want to develop more. Anyway, thanks for reading all of that if you did, haha.
